Last updated: 29/12/2025

Apex Containers coordinates delivery of shipping containers using trusted third-party transport partners. This policy outlines delivery conditions, access requirements, and customer responsibilities.

1. DELIVERY SERVICES

We arrange delivery of new and used shipping containers to residential, commercial, and industrial locations across Australia.

Delivery methods may include:

  • Tilt tray

  • Side loader

  • Crane (where available)

The delivery method is determined based on container size, site conditions, and transporter availability.

2. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

  • Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only

  • Delivery dates may be subject to weather, transport availability, and operational factors

  • We will notify customers if delays occur

Apex Containers is not liable for delays outside our control.

3. SITE ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access for delivery vehicles.

This includes:

  • Clear access for a heavy vehicle

  • Firm, level ground

  • Adequate turning space

  • No low branches, powerlines, or overhead obstructions

  • Gates unlocked and pets secured (if applicable)

If access is restricted or uncertain, customers must notify us prior to delivery.

4. DELIVERY DAY CONDITIONS

Final placement of the container is at the driver’s discretion, based on safety and site conditions.

If delivery cannot be completed due to unsuitable access:

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable

  • Standby or redelivery fees may apply

  • A new delivery date must be arranged once access is resolved

5. CUSTOMER PRESENCE

Customer presence on-site may be required for some deliveries.
If required and the customer is not present, delivery may be deemed unsuccessful.

6. RISK & LIABILITY

Once the container has been placed and the driver departs, responsibility for the container transfers to the customer.

Apex Containers is not responsible for:

  • Ground damage due to weight of delivery vehicles

  • Damage caused by undisclosed site conditions

  • Issues arising after delivery completion

7. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

Delivery is considered complete once the container has been safely unloaded at the agreed location.

Photos may be taken by the driver for confirmation purposes.

8. CHANGES TO DELIVERY DETAILS

Any changes to delivery address, date, or access conditions must be communicated as soon as possible.

Late changes may result in additional fees.

9. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

This policy operates in conjunction with the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit any statutory consumer rights.
