REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Apex Containers

Apex Containers aims to provide quality products and professional service. This policy outlines our position on cancellations, refunds, and changes to orders.

 

1. ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once an order has been confirmed and payment made (in full or deposit), the order is considered locked in and may be subject to cancellation or restocking fees as outlined below.

 

2. CANCELLATIONS (PRIOR TO DELIVERY)

✅ Cancellations MORE than 48 hours before delivery:

  • May be eligible for a refund, less any applicable fees, including:

    • Supplier restocking fees

    • Administrative costs

    • Non-refundable transport booking costs (if applicable)

⚠️ Cancellations within 48 hours of delivery:

  • Cancellation fees may apply

  • Transport costs already incurred are non-refundable

  • Refunds (if any) are assessed case by case

 

3. DELIVERY DAY CANCELLATIONS / FAILED DELIVERY

If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues, including but not limited to:

  • Insufficient access for truck

  • Unsafe ground conditions

  • Obstructions (trees, powerlines, gates, vehicles)

  • Customer not present (if required)

Then:

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable

  • A redelivery fee will apply

  • No refunds will be issued for failed delivery caused by access issues

 

4. CHANGE OF MIND

Apex Containers does not offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been confirmed, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

 

5. CONDITION OF USED CONTAINERS

Used containers are sold as wind & watertight unless otherwise stated.

Cosmetic wear such as dents, surface rust, paint marks, or scratches are not grounds for refund, as these are normal characteristics of used containers.

 

6. NEW CONTAINERS

New containers are sold in accordance with supplier specifications. Minor cosmetic variations may occur and do not constitute a fault.

 

7. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

This policy does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund if a container has a major fault and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

 

8. REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on financial institution processing times.
